Girl | Kari Ann Reagin, born August 1, 1982 to my parents Lynn Shonkwiler and David Reagin in Camarillo, CA. I lived in CA for only 5 weeks, my mother had decided to leave my father and return to her home state of Indiana in September. They were divorced in 1983 and I was raised by my mother and grandparents. I didn't find out much about my father and his side of the family until I was about 15. I didn't start searching for him until late 2005 when I was going through old letters from him. I have a 1/2 brother and sister, Scott & Kristen. I'm currently trying to get to know them but it's a work in progress since it's very weird to finally meet the remaining of your family that you've been dreaming about meeting for years.
Growing Up | I grew up in Lafayette, IN as a tomboy in the neighborhood playing basketball, football, biking, etc. I really never looked at being a girly girl until I was in my sophomore year in high school by growing out my hair and actually wearing clothes that fit my figure. I graduated from Lafayette Jefferson in 2000 and went on to college. College was a major life changing event that caused me to learn alot more about life. I'm suffering from the choices I made and also am glad of the choices that I made. I moved to Indianapolis in 2003 to be with my then fiance, Mark and ended up breaking up in October. I then met up with my now husband, Woody and have been happy since. The unfortunate part of my development since I moved to indianapolis was of my massive weight gain. That will be a battle to overcome in the future, I'm trying to take it one step at a time.
Career | As of October 26, 2007, I am unemployed and will be going back to school at Purdue in January 2008. I need some time off to relax and recollect on my life. Lowe's was leading me no where and I felt trapped with out an open door. I met alot of great people there and I hope that I will continue to stay friends with them into the future.
Marriage | I met my husband Jon Woodruff, (aka Woody) July 2003 at a 4th of July party that his brother, Joe, and his buddies throw every year. I was engaged at the time but never thought that you would meet your future soul mate randomly when you think you're settled down. We became friends when I moved to Indianapolis in August 2003, then I was told by my then-fiance, Mark, to not hang around him, which lasted 3 weeks. Thanks to mutual friend, James, I decided to call Woody and started talking again. When Mark & I broke up in October 2003, I, then at the time, wasn't planning on finding anyone else for a while but had a so-called one night stand with Woody which led to multiple nights of fun, to a relationship, then to marriage. We were wed on July 2, 2005. We bought our first home on the Southside of Indianapolis and now trying to survive marriage life with all its complications, aka bills!!!
